What Christmas Is All About
When I began this project I thought that it would be easy. It’s Christmas songs right? Something we all grew up with. Yet throughout the making of this album, I found myself reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas and those who shaped my fond memories of Christmas past. I realized how important those times were of close family and faith that shaped the best of me. It became difficult to give these songs the love and meaning they deserve. In the end, it is all about faith and family. Funny, I can’t really remember the myriad of presents I would receive as a young boy, but I remember my family gathered around the piano singing and laughing together. I can still hear the boisterous deep voice of my Uncle Roger and the gentle touch of my grandmother’s hand on the piano. It is to you my family that I dedicate this collection of music done in my own tilted way. Thank you for showing me the Lord and the true meaning of Christmas.
